InterCoach’s mission is to foster leadership coaching approaches that positively and productively engage with the messy and paradoxical reality of work and life. The goal of this blog is to bring you ideas, theories, and research from multiple perspectives with relevance to the practice of leadership coaching. I am going to explore how coaching can help bring ideas from psychology, sports, education, philosophy, neuroscience, economics, etc. into leadership. I believe the key to finding new approaches to address unprecedented challenges is to bring together ideas and people that may seem to be in conflict. Then, we can take advantage of the creative energy that comes from collaborative conversations and find solutions full of both passion and rational analysis. In each article I will discuss a tension or paradox and provide some ideas for new direction that leverage a coaching methodology and mindset.  I hope the blogs will start new conversations, thoughts, and practices in leadership and coaching.
