InterCoach offers a variety of Leadership Coaching services that are tailored to the unique needs of clients. We specialize in engaging with deeper systemic and cultural issues that can enable and constrain growth. Centered around its principal, we leverage networks to help individuals, groups and organisations to pursue their purposes and create value. In practice, we help leaders apply coaching approaches to enhance impact. We extend this to promote team and organizational flourishing. Our work is based on successful individual, group and organizational interventions across industries and sectors. Up front, we agree success factors are held accountable for results.We use the term ‘Leadership Coaching’ to capture the way that coaching methodologies and a coaching mindset have increasingly become integrated with effective leadership approaches. In our world of interconnected organizations, everyone leads in some way at some time whether they like it or know it. Coaching is the connector in leadership practice by placing the emphasis on collaboration and dialogue. From this perspective, organizational culture emerges from the leading that is done by everyone in organizational life, primarily through rich conversations. The InterCoach eFIRE coaching model and mindset provides a foundation for successful leadership coaching and is embedded in how we work, coach, train and lead.

E - FIRE has emerged as a leadership coaching methodology and mindset in educational, research and consultancy activities over some two decades. eFIRE is held in a shared agreement between InterCoach and QUT Graduate School of Business. It is designed for navigating tension, acknowledging the nature of the times as we experience volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) . eFIRE is a ‘meta-methodology’ that is compatible with other foundational approaches to leadership, coaching and change that have emerged over time (such as GROW, Agile, Design Thinking, and Intentional Change Theory)

I am a provocateur, educator and academic with a passion for growing individuals, groups and organisations. Formally, I am an experienced international coach, an academic, and facilitator, with expertise in the art and science of leadership coaching. My loves include my partner, cats, and family. I savor long-term friendships and spontaneous interactions. Travel, sport and language are passions.

  • Research, coaching and consulting in Latin America with multinational corporations
  • Facilitating post graduate leadership coaching programs in the QUT Graduate School of Business, including the establishment of an executive graduate certificate in Leadership Coaching
  • Coaching executives and executive teams for growth and high performance
  • Mentoring an Australia New Zealand team of coaches for the Ford Motor Company’s global Consumer Experience Movement
  • Designing and refining the eFIRE Leadership Coaching methodology and mindset
  • Writing and speaking about Leadership Coaching and global coaching, including as co-editor of The Routledge Companion to International Business Coaching (Moral and Abbott, 2011).
